The excavation was a wonderful experience.  Along with fascinating archaeology in a truly spectacular setting, we also had the privilege of working with one of the most talented, experienced, enthusiastic and downright nice groups of people you could ever wish to meet.  Working in such a place with such people made each day a pleasure.  We are truly grateful to Dr. Ros Ó’Maoldúin, Lee Scotland, Brí Greene, Mark Heffernan, Stephen Matthews, Dr. Laura O’Gorman, Christina Hughes and Michala Nagyova, and of course Róisín Burke of Abarta, for sharing this experience with us.
